The University of Kentucky has launched a new website for information, news-related updates and excerpts regarding their recently awarded $87 million HEALing Communities Study (Helping to End Addiction Long-term) cooperative agreement.

With textbook prices on the rise, some students have decided to forgo buying textbooks. As an active contributor to student success, the UK Libraries started the Alternative Textbook Grant Program in 2016 to help faculty offer free or affordable course material. Last week, the University of Kentucky Advising Network hosted the Ken Freedman Day of Recognition, with a luncheon sponsored by Student and Academic Life, honoring advisors for their work during the previous academic semester.
