We are the only skilled nursing non-profit that provides affordable older adult housing in Lexington, KY. Without us, many of the elderly would not have a home. The campus provides assisted living, independent living, true Alzheimer's care and short-term rehab. All internship experiences are unique and very flexible on dates/times. I always ask students for their strengths and weaknesses when they interview. I want to play to their strengths, but I also want to make sure we tackle their weaknesses when they're here so that they don't have to do that on their own out in 'the real world.' In addition to all the hard skills they will acquire, they will have the soft skills that will make them incredibly marketable from the get-go. They will learn how to balance projects and tasks efficiently and be an incredibly well-rounded and award-winning Integrated Strategic Marketing Director. They are going to have the confidence when they leave this internship that they absolutely are capable of running their own department.
